Samuel Jackson Designer
Samuel got his introduction into automotive design working for Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, the Chevrolet dealership owned by NASCAR legend, Dale Earnhardt, based out of Newton, NC. The dealership had a history of creating custom Dale Earnhardt edition vehicles. When Samuel started working for the dealership in 2007 he started work on designing custom editions for customers. Originally the customs were mostly just cosmetic in the way of vinyl and badges with some minor interior embroidery.
This all changed in 2010 when Dale Earnhardt was inducted in the first class of the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC. To commemorate this momentous occasion Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, along with their parent company Dale Earnhardt Inc., wanted to build 10 special edition Camaro’s. These special edition Dale Earnhardt Hall of Fame Camaro’s became the creations of Samuel Jackson, along with input from other staff at the dealership. These Camaro’s were heavily modified but still only cosmetic.
The next big custom project Samuel was involved in was the 2011 Dale Earnhardt Intimidator Camaro. This car was a much larger project involving custom fabrication of body panels, custom machining for interior parts, and lots of other cosmetic customization along with significant performane modification to make the car a national newsworthy custom vehicle. Samuel was in charge of creating the initial concept of the vehicle along with all that would go into it. He also spearheaded the marketing and promotion of the vehicle to a national audience.
Currently Samuel’s automotive custom efforts are being utilized to build the Legend brand including Legend Garage and Legend Customs.

2011 Dale Earnhardt Intimidator Camaro
In tribute to his legacy, several custom “Intimidator Edition” vehicles were produced over the years—some through Chevrolet and others through Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet. Among the most notable was the 2001 Dale Earnhardt Intimidator Camaro. A decade later, to mark its 10th anniversary, Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet, along with Samuel Jackson, created another one.
